Jami is a not-for-profit leader, event producer, creative strategist,
and storyteller with more than three decades of experience helping organizations grow their missions, strengthen their communities
and create memorable experiences that truly matter.
She has had the privilege of producing everything from 18,000-person festivals to VIP donor celebrations, while cultivating partnerships with government agencies, corporate sponsors, chambers of commerce, tourism leaders and community stakeholders. Anson's work blends strategy, creativity, relationship-building and operational discipline — whether she is developing a legacy giving program, writing grants, shaping an organization’s brand, or coordinating agencies for a region-wide event.
Jami has led fundraising and development teams, managed multimillion-visitor programs, and directed creative and outreach initiatives around the world — from UN-affiliated peace programs to award-winning publications and national nonprofit campaigns. Anson is also an award-winning photographer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, The Washington Post, People and more. At the heart of everything Ms. Anson has a passion for community-driven work, public spaces, public engagement along with meaningful human connection.

It is my opinion that Ms. Anson is a leader with unparalleled energy, creativity and drive. It would be amazing to have any organization benefit from her experience and passion for community development. I have worked with Jami in many different capacities. She and I immediately connected and have since worked together on many different events in the Ulster/Dutchess community. Her personal network of local business owners, politicians and leadership is incredible and she truly enjoys connecting and engaging others in the area. Jami is a creative person who is able to succeed in fundraising events with a minimum budget ... I would say she starts with a zero budget and turns the results in a most positive community oriented success for the betterment of Hudson Valley consumers.
